Title of the book :The Invisible Man
Author: H.G. Wells

This book is about a man who can become invisible if he wants and after his arrival at the village of Iping, many crimes occured and they could not be explained. For example one day at the vicarage, Mrs. Bunting heard some funny noises and padding of the feets. However, she could not see anyone at her house although she and Mr. Bunting had went around their whole house to check. So, they went back to do their things. But soon later, they heard the chink of money. But when they went to their room and check, the money in the drawer had already gone. And many of such cases happened. Money and jewelleries disappeared out of no reason. And once, the furniture even moved. Slowly, th stranger became almost mad. He started to murder people.

Soon, he townspeople came to realize that the stranger is invisible and he is committing all the crimes. They wanted to stop the invisible man from his evil deeds, however, if he is invisible when committing crimes, there would be no evidence. And if no one could see him, how could he be caught? The whole village people tried to find ways to catch the invisible man but they could not think of a good idea.

One day, the invisible man was stealing things again. The people heard his footsteps and were all staring at the direction. They immeadiately know that it was the invisible man committing crimes again. They hurriedly spread out and try to grab him. A dozen hands gripped, clutched and tore the invisible man. And finally, they captured him. However, he was hurt. The invisible man face was bruised and was going red. And soon,the people saw faint and transparent veins and arteries, bones and nerves. The outline of the invisible man hands and legs was also seen. Then he was brought to a room and locked up.

And the invisible man could not be invisible again as it was all an experiment and the scientist's creation of the invisible medicine had end. And thus, it also stopped the man from becoming invisible again.

Title: Pippi Longstocking in the south sea
Author: Astrid Lindgren

This book is about a girl called Pippil who i the strongest girl in the world. She is so strong that she can carry up a horse! Pippi lives all by herself in Villekulla Cottage except for a money called mr nelson and a horse for accompany. She had to live all by herself as her mother died when she was born not long and her fatherhad blown into the sea during a storm and had disappeared. However, she was sure that he would come back.

And of course, one day, he finally came bacl. He brought Pippi and her best friends, tommy and annika aboard. They went to Canny Canny island as Pippi's father was the King there. After a few days sailing in the sea, they finally reached. They played with the Canny cannibals. But soon, tommy and annika were home sick. Pippi decided to go back to Villekulla Village with them as she could not bear to leave her best friends although her father asked Pippi to stay.

Pippi's father reluctanly allowed Pippi to leave and he promised that he would visit Pippi if he is free.

On the 13th July, from the secondary one level to the third level, we had e-learning day. The teachers posted the homework that we were asked to complete on the Zhonghua website. The purpose of having an e-learning day is that when times that there are diseases like SARS, and we cannot go to school to study, we will know what to do as e-learning day's purpose is to prepare us.

After this e-learning exercise, i think that it is very meaningful and we can learn a lot of things through this even though that we did not go to school to study. I think this e-learning day activity is actually quite fun and interesting and we should have more of this activity. And through this activity, we can also know that if a person have integrity. Because if a person does not have, he/she would not have done the homework which we were asked to complete as there were no teachers to guide us and teach us. However, we do not know if any people was helping us for example tuition teachers or parents. Sometimes, it may be even friends who are the ones who helping them to complete their work.

But it all, i think e-learning day exercise should be practice frequently. I also enjoyed the e-learning day which was yesterday and i look forward to another e-learning day.

Charlotte's Web

The main character in this book is Wilbur, the pig which Fern had adopted. Wilbur wa supposed to be killed by Fern's father after a few days he was born. However, he was stopped by Fern. So, from that day onwards, Fern looked after Wilbur. However, as Wilbur grow, his ppetite increased. So, Fern's father sold it to Fern's uncle,Homer.
As Uncle Homer's farm is not too far fom Fern's house, Fern visisted Wilbur everyday. But as days pass by, Wilbur started to get bored as there was no fun and no friends to play with him. But one day, a spider named Charlotte showed up and became friends with Wilbur. Charlotte also saved Wilbur's life by spinning a web to say that Wilbur is RADIANT, SOME PIG etc. Then one day, Homer decided to bring Wilbur to the fair to have a competition. And Charlotte went there too after much persuation from Wilbur. And as they need someone who can find words, they asked Templeton the rat to follow.
When they reached there, Charlotte went to see the pig competiting and found out that the pig was a dirty but huge one. And also, he cracks lame jokes. Charlotte also spun a web indicating that Wilbur was HUMBLE. But as Charlotte was ageing, she had not much strength left to move. Charlotte had also made an egg sac containing five hundred and forteen eggs.
The next day when Homer arrives, he saw the web saying that Wilbur was humble. However, Lurvy saw a blue tag on the other pig's pen, which means that the pig won the first prize already. Upon seeing this, Zukerman quickly tok buttermilk out and help Wilbr to bath. And soon, a large crowd gathered. Then suddenly, an announcment saying that a special prize would be given to Wilbur. Everyone was so happy.
However, when Wilbur was about to take the medal, he fainted. This time round, Templeton the rat came to his rescue by bitting his tail. After that, Wilbur went back to where charlotte was. At there, Charlotte told him that she would not be going home with him as she was going to die. So, Wilbur decided to take her egg sac back. And as Wilbur could not reach, he has to ask Templeton for his help and in return, Wilbur must let him eat first.
Days passed by and Charlotte's baby hatched from the egg. However, they flewed away. Wilbur was so sad that he was in tears and then, he went to sleep. On the next day, he realized that 3 of Charlotte's daughters had stayed. And from that day onwards, Wilbur was never lonely. He was not killed by Homer. However, he still could not forget his best friend, Charlotte.

Well, time really flies, two weeks of holidays have passed. I realised that i have not been using these period of time wisely as i did not do much of my homework. So, to make up for it, i have decided to work hard and make good use of the time for the next two weeks.

On the 28 of May, which is the first day of school holiday, we went back to school for our chinese oral examintations. Then on the wednesday, which is the 30th May, our class had a class gathering. We went to the Escape Theme Park to play. When we were on the way, it started raining heavily. We quite disppointed but the rained stopped after 10 minutes. So, we went in to play. And although 2 rides, we cancelled, we had a fun and enjoyable day.

During the school holidays, the chinese orchestra members we also asked to go back to school on every friday, from 9.00a.m. to 4.30p.m. for practice. And on the second week of school holidays, i went to gather with my friends to do projects that were given to us. I also attended my cousin's wedding.

On friday, 1st June, i went to my niece and nephews' house to stay for 4 days 3 nights. Just to keep them company. I enjoyed my stay there although i was home sick. My family and i also went back to malaysia to find my grandparents on Fathers' Day. The journy was actually two hours and forty five minutes but as we lost our way, we reached our detination at about 4hours plus. And it was already very late when we reach there.

I really had enjoyed myself during the school holidays.
